The storms in November 2005 & Spring 2006 did considerable damage to the beach and stonewall protecting the boardwalk east of the Crisp Point Lighthouse. The Historical Society had the damage repaired at a cost of $15,250. As of 12/2007, $3,740 was raised to specifically fund the SAVE THE BOARDWALK project.
