At the 2007 Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival in Alpena, some daring CPLHS members bid at the auction to have their favorite lighthouse made into miniatures. Also as part of the auction, the winning lighthouse will be the featured light at the 2008 Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival in Alpena, MI. Guess what? They got it! Harbour Lights will be making Crisp Point Lighthouse Miniatures in their "This Little Light of Mine" series in 2008. Rick Brockway is taking pre-orders now as the first run will be 300 miniatures. These first 300 miniatures will have special markings on the bottom and will be sold through CPLHS. All proceeds of miniatures through CPLHS will go to CPLHS. The price for the miniatures will be $21.95 each. They will be available for pickup in Paradise, MI and Howell, MI or they can be delivered to you for a shipping and handling fee of $5.00. Rick is not requesting payment at this time so you can order now and pay later. Below are pictures of the first samples of what the miniatures will look like. These pictures are not the final version though, as some paint color corrections, etc. need to be made.
