The fastest way to get to the lighthouse by snowmobile is to trailer your snowmobiles down Luce County Road 500 to Little Lake Harbor. Unload there and take County Road 412 about 5 miles (this section of CR-412 is part of snowmobile trail 8). Then turn left still following CR-412 to the lighthouse. This last 2.2 mile section is not groomed and it gets rough at times. You can also pick up trail 8 in Paradise. It runs west to the point where you turn to go north to the lighthouse.
